Retirement marks a significant milestone in life, promising leisure, freedom from routine, and time to pursue passions. However, for many, including myself, retirement brought unexpected challenges and a sense of unfulfillment. As a former Certified Financial Planner with 30 years of experience, I found myself missing the purpose and impact that work provided.
In less than a year into retirement, I realized that traditional retirement wasn’t aligning with my aspirations. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed more me time and doing things I thought I would love to do…..it just did not fill my glass. The void I experienced with client interactions and making an impact in their lives encouraged me to make a bold decision: to pivot into a new career path.
Now, I’m excited to share the news: I’m coming out of retirement! Embarking on a new career direction in Custom Home Building, I am reigniting my passion and sense of purpose.
